Elan Vital Australia

Elan Vital Inc is a non-profit association formed in Australia to promote the message of Prem Rawat, also known as Maharaji, an honourary title given to him in India where he began his work.

Elan Vital Australia promotes Maharaji’s message through regular satellite broadcasts, video presentations, meetings and the lending and sale of materials.

Elan Vital Australia invites Maharaji to speak at events in Australia. Since 1972, he has presented his message at events in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane, as well as events at Ivory's Rock Conference Centre, a modern outdoor facility near Brisbane.

The organisation is supported by the work and contributions of volunteers, and the sale and hire of videos, audio tapes and printed publications.

Statement of Principles

Following Maharaji ’s teaching is a personal choice and process and in no way requires involvement with any particular group or organisation. Each individual may therefore pursue this teaching without associating with or supporting Elan Vital.

Each person freely decides the nature of their relationship to the teaching and may follow it for whatever period of time they desire, abandon it if they choose, and return again as they wish.

The decision to request the Knowledge offered by Maharaji remains at all times an individual choice.

We support each person’s freedom of choice with regard to their philosophical, political and religious convictions and consider that all people are free and responsible for their personal decisions in family, professional and social life.

Elan Vital Australia is almost completely a volunteer organisation. Volunteers offer their time, skills and donations in supporting the effort to make Prem Rawat’s teachings available as widely as possible.

Support for Elan Vital activities, whether by offering personal skills or financial contributions, is voluntary and is made freely.

In Australia, Elan Vital is a non-profit organisation that promotes Maharaji ’s message, coordinates events at which he speaks and provides information and materials.

In order to provide easy access to Maharaji's message, Elan Vital makes a variety of products and distribution methods available, including on-line ordering, in-home satellite broadcast viewing, and mail order video libraries.
