Elan Vital Inc (Australia) is a non-profit association formed to promote the message of Prem Rawat, also known as Maharaji, an honorary title given to him in India where he began his work.

Elan Vital Australia promotes Prem Rawat’s message through regular satellite broadcasts, video presentations, meetings, and the lending and sale of materials.

Elan Vital Australia invites Prem Rawat to speak at events in Australia, and coordinates those events.

Since 1972, he has presented his message at events in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and in Brisbane, where he has often spoken at Ivory's Rock Conference Centre, a modern outdoor facility at Peak Crossing.

Elan Vital Australia is supported by the efforts and contributions of volunteers, and by the sale and hire of videos, audio tapes and printed publications.Prem Rawat receives no compensation from Elan Vital

Statement of Principles

The decision to request the Knowledge offered by Prem Rawat is an individual one, and each person decides what their relationship to the teaching will be.They may follow it for as long as they desire to, abandon it if they choose, and return again as they wish.

Following Prem Rawat’s teaching requires no involvement with any particular group or organisation. Any person may therefore freely pursue this teaching without needing to associate with, or support, Elan Vital, though where support is offered, either in the form of personal skills or financial contributions, it is always welcomed.

We believe in freedom of choice for each individual to hold their own philosophical, political and religious convictions, and we consider that all people are free to make their own decisions in their family, professional and social life, and are responsible for those decisions.

Elan Vital Australia is almost entirely run by volunteers, people who offer their time, skills and donations to help make Prem Rawat’s teachings as widely available as possible.
